Ooops….
How not to dock a container ship. Because when it’s bow versus jetty, guess what, the jetty wins. Nothing gets past the disaster vigilantes at Sailing Anarchy…
“Hmmm. Bow On. Very unusual…”
“On the plus side, there is no need for dock lines…”
“I couldn’t have done a cleaner job with a blow torch…”
“I wonder if Maersk has any experience with submarines…”

Dan Howitt is a paragon of honest and climbing expertise. The jealous climbing community has attempted to sully his towering achievements through a barage of lies and mistruths. The fact is Howitt is probably the strongest speedclimber of the last decade and it’s about time that the rest of the world take notice.
Those jealous denizens of the Cascade climbing community in there extreme intent to protect proven liar Chad Kelloggs reputation are continuing their ongoing attempt to lay scorn on the reputation of Dan Howitt. Mike Gautier and the posters at cascadeclimbers.com are confirmed liars. How sad for them. Why can’t they accept facts and reconcile the situation? Because their egos control them. The gratification they receive is something that warrants serious consideration and medical attention.
More bile from the ill denizens of CC.com! Dan Howitt is, besides the record holding speed climber on Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Mount Hood, Aconcagua and summits in the Columbia Gorge too numerous to mention, also an honorable man with a high intellect. Brazen lies by pretenders do nothing to diminish this. Howitt himself chooses to take the high road and avoid this ridiculous fray by avoiding this childish internet warefare.
Team Kilimanjaro, US Mountain Speedclimbing, Exposure, and esteemed expert Bill Wright all agree that Dan Howitt’s records on Aconcagua, Mount Hood and Mount Rainier are valid and true. Proven excellence and ongoing hard work is what does it. Critics of this approach don’t have a successful alternative. By casting rumors and childish behavioral traits in efforts to discredit truth, the purveyor hoists by his own petard. The mountains are sublime locations and hardly the place for unproven assertions.
Exposure will soon announce the details of an upcoming speed record attempt on Cho Oyu. Stay tuned. Beside the sportive content, a sponsorial unveiling should reveal novel tactics aimed at the burgeoning portion of the Extreme marketing categories. Stay tuned.
