Wow, that was pretty poignant. I don’t necessarily believe that boycotting the consumption of meat is terribly productive on an individual basis, but I think that speaking out against the treatment of animals at slaughterhouses and other product plants can be effective.
It’s a shame that so many people dismiss this kind of creative protest as “bleeding-heart” nonsense. We’re omnivores, sure, but we can at least be civil about it.
